This was a 3-part design project for a 122-home gated townhouse community called Alcala De Rancho Santa Fe. Brian Best of Garden Spirit Landscape and I teamed up to redesign their pool area, which included vertical garden planters, a private fountain area on top of a seat-wall planter, new pots, and all-new drought-tolerant colorful plantings.
A new design was also laid out for the grand entry, featuring a 6' stone Moroccan-style fountain and classical plantings, Lavender, White Roses, and 'Little Gem' Magnolias. Lastly, a new design was drawn for the driveway entrance, including new Date Palms, Strawberry Trees, Cordylines, 'Silver Sheen' Pittosporum, and others.
