John Kensla, Landscape Designer & Founder of Infinite Sky.
John Kensla is the creator, visionary, designer and artist behind Infinite Sky Landscape Design. With a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, 25+ years of professional experience, and 350+ designs completed, he brings a level of creativity to each project that's genuinely rare in the landscape world: avant-garde, motif-driven gardens with deep symbolism, integrated harmoniously into nature. He has a keen eye for color, texture and spatial planning. John Kensla has a high level of creativity, organization, reliability and is able to think outside the box successfully.
Having studied Landscape Architecture in Taiwan for a semester and traveled throughout Southeast Asia, including Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand, he was deeply influenced by Asian style gardens, landscape architecture developments, and cultural traditions, which continue to shape his design perspective today.
Outside of the studio, John is a musician, artist, teacher, martial artist, and an active advocate of meditation, metaphysics, and lifelong self-improvement. These expressions of music, movement, art, and Spirit are artfully reflected into every garden he designs.
